Bottom Floor of Davies' Bookstore

A bookstore I made for fun. There aren't any books because... well, I was reaching the limits of what my laptop could handle. This shot shows some of the lighting effects, as well as the central sitting area.

Total time spent on it was about 120 hours. Thee hours render time in 3ds Max mentalray at a medium-high quality render (smaller dimensions = faster render). Postprocessing done in photoshop.

The reason none of the lights are on is officially because the owners haven't set up yet. Unofficially it's because my laptop couldn't handle rendering with them turned on. (We're talking 50+ lights here.)
